For 50 years, Middleburg Heights has done something a little unusual… We ride a teeter-totter for 16 hours to help our neighbors in need.

And in 2026, we’re celebrating the 50th Annual Teeter-Totter Marathon!

Join us May 2–3 as riders, collectors, volunteers, and supporters come together for one of the most unique and beloved traditions in our community.

Over five decades, the Teeter-Totter Marathon has:
💛 Raised over $300,000 for charities and non-profit causes
🎢 Logged an estimated 3,200 miles of teeter-tottering
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Brought together generations of families and volunteers

Every dollar raised supports Second Mile Outreach, which provides food and essential household goods to families across Cuyahoga County.

🎢 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻

Starting Saturday morning, volunteers take turns riding the teeter-totter for 16 hours while collectors gather donations from passing drivers and supporters (and salute those who give online).

When the marathon wraps up at noon on Sunday, the celebration continues! Join us for the Teeter-Totter Marathon Alumni Reception & Fundraiser, featuring:

🎟 A penny social raffle with great prize packages
🤝 Time to reconnect with riders and volunteers from the past 50 years
